The China Conspiracy

Whitney Webb is currently breaking a very interesting news story about a bill being pushed by a special interest group pushing to turn America in China.  As strange as it sounds, the bill is called “national security commission artificial intelligence” (notice there is no “of” in that title), and the group itself is apparently headed by Eric Schmidt, Ex-CEO of Google.  The bill operates on the premise that, if the US is to remain a globaly dominant superpower, that we must beat China at their own game.  This means implementing an even harsher version of their “social credit system”, and would include nearly complete control and monitoring by the government through your smart phone, along with the abolishing of private vehicle ownership, and a host of other rights being stripped away.  In other words, a techno-Orwellian nightmare straight out of a horror novel.  

It sounds insane, but according to Webb, there has been a FOIA request on the subject that has gleaned a lot about this clearly nefarious plan.  Webb is breaking the story now, and it seems that a full report from her is forthcoming.
