Possible Alien Tech Has Crash-Landed in the Indian Ocean

In 2017, astronomers discovered “Omuamua”, a very unique asteroid that was believed to be the first-detected interstellar object to enter our solar system.  Almost immediately, researchers noted its odd behavior and trajectory which fueled serious speculation that it could be an alien spacecraft.  For instance, Omuamua’s entry speed is 3 times that of a normal asteroid.  Also, it somehow accelerated after entering our solar system much more than could be accounted for by gravitational pull from our Sun- almost as if it were being controlled.  This is something that still puzzles scientists.  After completing a slingshot turn around our Sun in what might have been a gravity-assisted piloting maneuver, Omuamua began its exit from our solar system.   The International Astronomical Union originally classified Omuamua as a comet, but then changed that designation to Asteroid.  The word Omuamua is Hawaiian for “Scout”, and was named by the scientists who originally discovered it using the Pan-STARRS telescope at Haleakalā Observatory, Hawaii

However, more recent research and analysis of older data has revealed that another interstellar object entered our Solar System a few years earlier in 2014.  What’s even more exciting is, it never exited our solar system- instead it crash landed right here on Earth.  Specifically, into the Indian Ocean off the coast of New Guinea.  What’s even more interesting is, Avi Loeb, the chair of Harvard University’s Astronomy Department has doubled down on his theory that this crashed object is no asteroid, but is actually a piece of alien technology.

Professor Loeb is also the astronomer who originally identified the object as interstellar, but was unable to publish his previous paper on the subject due to classified data being used for his analysis.  Earlier this year, the U.S. Space Command (USSC) confirmed that the object indeed originated from another solar system, and Loeb wants to organize a recovery mission to dredge the mystery object from the sea floor.
