Currently, Elon Musk (of Tesla fame) is creating a new technology called “Neuralink”. This is quite literally a computer ship in your brain. This will in theory enable anything from enhanced senses and cognitive abilities, to the ability to edit your memories and experiences. While the thought might be equally frightening and intriguing, it’s set to become a reality. Musk says his “neural link” will be ready in ten years if all goes well (according to his 5/7/20 interview on the Joe Rogan Experience).

The thing is, you know who else predicted the exact same technology almost half a century ago? You guessed it… ol’ Ted Kaczynski (the Unabomber).
