New Music – Never Die On Halloween

Aquamaster - "Never Die On Halloween"

This past Friday, Aquamaster released an EP that “falls in” with the Halloween season.  It covers the Halloween, Horror, and Darksynth genres, so if that’s you, or you have a playlist that caters to electronic rock, please consider a track or two.   You can listen on spotify at https://open.spotify.com/album/2llg6cFlZsKA8LjJx8srh9

Here’s a breakdown of the tracks
Dawn of the Hunt –  Definitely a banger inspired by old school horror soundtracks.  This instrumental takes you from the start of the hunt through to the kill.

It Can’t Rain all The Time – WARNING:  Contains black metal vocals. – Can it rain all the time?  No.  But sometimes it seems like it.  To me, this is a great slow pop song.  To others, it’s black metal vocals over a synthwave ballad.  You can’t please everyone, all the time.

Never Die On Halloween – Psychedelic horror synth pop?  Vocoder vocals?  Guitars?  All of the above.  The lyrics are actually just a string of horror movie titles from Tubi.

Dystopian Nightmare – WARNING:  This song contains rap. – The beat is decaying, but decay is speeding up, constantly.  The real question here is, do you like Corpse Husband?

River Magic – This instrumental is easily the heaviest track on the EP, and I feel like I’m overlooking how much others might like it.  FYI that’s me laughing, it’s not a sample.

After the Ordeal – You know how in horror movies, when the final girl kills the killer/monster/whatever, there’s that camera shot where she just kind of stares off with a semi-traumatized blank stare?   This song is that facial expression.
