How To Surf The Kali Yuga

Kali Yuga is the last and current of the four stages (or yugas) in the cycle of creation and destruction in Hinduism, Jainism and Buddhism. According to ancient Indian texts, it is believed that the Kali Yuga began around 3,102 BCE, and it is said to be a time of decline and degeneration, characterized by a decline in moral values, a decrease in spiritual knowledge, and an increase in violence, corruption, and suffering.

Many spiritual traditions and religious beliefs have their own versions of this concept of cyclical ages, where each age is marked by a decline in spiritual values, and an increase in materialism and selfishness.

It is believed that the Kali Yuga is a time of great spiritual and moral decline, where the values of truth, righteousness, and compassion are replaced by those of greed, selfishness, and deception. It is also said to be a time when the forces of darkness and ignorance will grow stronger, and the light of knowledge and wisdom will become weaker.

Many people today see signs of these negative changes in society, such as the decline of moral values, the rise of materialism, and the increase in violence, corruption, and suffering. Some people also believe that the Kali Yuga may be responsible for the current global political and social turmoil, as well as the ongoing environmental crisis.

Some people believe that the end of the Kali Yuga is a time of great opportunity for spiritual growth and renewal. Many spiritual traditions teach that individuals can transcend the negative effects of the Kali Yuga through spiritual practices such as meditation, yoga, or other forms of spiritual discipline. These practices are believed to help individuals to purify their minds, develop compassion and wisdom, and ultimately to transcend the cycle of birth and death.

To truly surf the Kali Yuga, one must be ready to paddle into the great waves of destruction that make others tremble in fear.  One must be capable of paddling along with, and keeping pace with the waves of cosmic destruction.  This alignment of speed and direction must be attained in order to “ride the wave”, and use it’s force to propel you forward, rather than push you under.  It us very much like surfing an actual wave in this respect.  The goal of surfing the Kali Yuga is to ride the wave, instead of being crushed by it.
